Afshan graduated from De Montfort University in Leicester and completed the Legal Practice Course before qualifying as a Solicitor in 1997. Afshan founded Renaissance Solicitors in 2003 and takes a hands-on approach to new clients, ensuring they are matched with the correct legal expertise required for each individual case.

Afshan has years of extensive experience in Medical Regulatory, Wills & Probate, Family and Immigration as well as commercial law areas including obtaining ISSN No’s, patents and trademarks, company registrations and all business related matters.

Afshan previously worked with Haq Hamilton Hughes & Co Solicitors. Afshan was the Managing Partner and franchise representative of the practice. She acquired franchises for the practice in Immigration and Criminal Law.

Afshan dealt with the first ever PEMETB appeal and was a member of the Association of Regulatory and Disciplinary Lawyers.

Afshan has an excellent command of many different languages being fluent in Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi.

Afshan enjoys giving back to the community by offering her time and services to help various charities. Furthermore, she has helped many members of the community by offering Pro-Bono work.
